West Palm Beach is one of the most beautiful and exciting places in Florida to live. Palm Beach County is also one of the largest counties in Florida. Basically, there is something for everyone. The average temperature here ranges between 75 and 80 degrees. This is great weather to utilize the numerous public beaches which stretches along our 47-mile shoreline. There are dozens of public and private golf courses, dozens of parks and recreation centers, water parks, lots of boating docks, snorkeling and diving sites, libraries, colleges, schools, churches, shopping, entertainment, restaurants, nightclubs, Clematis by Night (Thursday Nights downtown), City place, Kravitz Center and more.
According to the 2003 Census, there are 1.13 million people living in this county. The eastern shore is the more densley populated, with more and more new communities being build going further west. As the population increased, the airport was expanded to become an international airport, more parks and schools have been build, among other things.
